Silent Hill isn't that stupid C*** of a undead cadaver appearing every five minutes or even zombie dogs jumping out of windows. Silent Hill is a sophisticated horror game, that uses it's necropolic atmosphere to cause the player to feel tense and sometimes, even when you are in a room that doesn't have any of Silent Hill's grotsque, symbolic monsters(which range from dogs with worms on their heads to even little demon children), it still brings out suspenseful music, to keep you on edge.

I remember H.P. Lovecraft has said the following:

Silent Hill isn't a game filled with the pathetic cliches of the commoners, Silent Hill is a example of horror done right and Silent Hill 2 even brings sexual lust and sexual symbolism to the table and features a even more depressing, yet still psychological experience.

I'm not talking about Resident Evil, because that's just a child's game, I'm talking about Silent Hill.
A game that is truly meant for adults, they ain't BSing you when they say "This game contains violent and disturbing images", because that is clearly the truth.
Silent Hill is a game that would make even Stephen King or H.P. Lovecraft uneasy.
